Biamp Sound Masking
Smart acoustic comfort and privacy for modern spaces
The Biamp sound masking solution (via its integrated Cambridge brand) distributes carefully calibrated ambient sound that targets the same frequencies as human speech. This process reduces the intelligibility of distant conversations while preserving local communication, improving both acoustic comfort and privacy.
It can be deployed in a direct field configuration (loudspeakers oriented towards the occupied area) or an indirect field configuration (sound reflected from the ceiling).
